Leading Businessman States that Best Business Book is The Bible! That was quite a powerful affirmation.
This leading Businessman recently opened his address at a Christian Conference where he was addressing Christian Leaders with these words, “Your contribution to society is immense. Do not undervalue yourself.”
He read the concluding verses Matthew Chapter 28 - the first book in the New Testament. These words are frequently called “The Great Commission” - no - they are the greatest commission! Go - Make - Baptise - Teach - these are four positively powerful verbs. Take great encouragement from these words. They are not the words of a man, but of Jesus Christ and he gives you have that authority.

I was a born a NY Yankee fan, so it stands to reason that my interest in America’s favorite past time – baseball – rises significantly every September. I watch games played against the Red Sox, regularly check the standings, and worry about A-Rod, Jeter and the entire pitching staff. During a recent game, my mind wandered into leadership territory, and it occurred to me that we could learn a lot about leadership through baseball, and the pitchers in particular.
